The Victorians made Primrose Tea

In the Victorian era, both wild primroses and violets were regularly made into Spring herbal teas for their tonic, healing effects. They were especially popular for children, but adults also appreciated fresh primrose herb tea (leaves and flowers), which has calming biochemistry, helping with insomnia and headaches.
