Our Milk Thistle seeds (wild certified) have been chosen by herbal practitioner Jill Davies in order to retain the high levels of fatty acids contained in the whole and fresh seeds. Chew as they are or put in a daily smoothie. These seeds are liver protective, cleansing and help prevent depletion of glutathione and equally help hormone balance.

Product Advice

Do not use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Directions for use

Use whole, or crush up seeds in mortar and pestle. Alternatively add whole and liquidize in smoothies. Use per day, 2 tsp. of whole seeds or down to 1 tsp and up to 1 tablespoon.


Bop to the Beats smoothie:

 1 serving of Superfood Plus powder
Half a raw beetroot (use a whole beetroot if making more for others. You can always water down if consistency is too thick)
1 thumb sized piece of fresh ginger root
1 pear or 1 apple
1-2 tsp Milk Thistle Seeds (you will need a good blender to grind these)
You can also add to this to boost the greens even more: 1 handful of kale or 1 handful of baby spinach leaves or fresh garden spinach.
