Passionflower and Passionfruit
Lovely to see both together. As herbalists, we use the flowers for anxiety, nervous tension, poor sleep and, over time, rebuilding nervous system components.

Yarrow Still Flowering
You can make a simple fresh tea from the leaves and flowers. As a hot tea, it helps regulate fevers.

It`s also a wonderful gut-settling plant, helping with wind, bloating, dyspepsia (pain, burning, general discomfort) and overall inflammation.

Autumn Milk Thistle Leaves
These young leaves show the Milk veining very nicely. Next June /July, these plants will be flowering and seeds will be forming by August.

Milk Thistle Seed is a very important Liver support plant and will always feature in any Liver formulae for detox purposes, repair of Liver cells and blood sugar regulation.

Our Hawthorn Harvest
Lovely to see these glorious red Hawthorn berries, which dominate our Pumpbeat Capsules (link: https://shop.herbs-hands-healing.co.uk/product/pumpbeet-capsules-2) for heart and circulatory support. (Ask for a sample.)

You can also try our Hawthorn Tincture (link: https://shop.herbs-hands-healing.co.uk/product/hawthorn-tincture-2)

PolliTox for Detoxing.
In October, you`ll see both the old burdock plants (including the grippy burrs that get caught on animal fur and seed distributed). And you`ll also see young green leaves re-shooting before being knocked back in the much colder weather.

Burdock root is a multi-dimensional medicinal plant long used and often traditionally combined with dandelion root.

It supports the liver`s work to detoxify the body in general, reduce accumulated fatty acids, lower overall inflammation and help normalise blood sugar.

You can see how it helps reduce toxin burden and metabolic disorders in general.

Horseradish - the Super Heat Plant
We use the horseradish roots in our Onion & Horseradish Concentrate (link: https://shop.herbs-hands-healing.co.uk/product/onion-horseradish-concentrate). As an antiviral, antibacterial and hugely warming plant, it plays centre stage in our colds, flu (and worse) in this herbal blend.

Ideally, take small daily doses from October to March for preventative purposes, stepping up the dose if you succumb to something affecting your lungs, throat, or achy feelings.
