Horseradish - the Super Heat Plant
We use the horseradish roots in our Onion & Horseradish Concentrate (link: https://shop.herbs-hands-healing.co.uk/product/onion-horseradish-concentrate). As an antiviral, antibacterial and hugely warming plant, it plays centre stage in our colds, flu (and worse) in this herbal blend.

Ideally, take small daily doses from October to March for preventative purposes, stepping up the dose if you succumb to something affecting your lungs, throat, or achy feelings.

Ginkgo Leaf Tincture (https://shop.herbs-hands-healing.co.uk/product/ginkgo-tincture-2) increases blood flow to the brain, opening up narrowed capillaries. It is one of the many digestive herbs in our Lemon and Artichoke Concentrate (link: https://shop.herbs-hands-healing.co.uk/product/lemon-artichoke-concentrate). Ask for a sample.

Breathing Better & Mint
A classic herbal blend for helping the lungs and making breathing easier would always have mint in it. Our Breathe & Clear Herb Tea is no exception and peppermint stars alongside several other herbs that help make breathing easier and lung function noticeably better.

A fun fact concerning mint and breathing is that the essential oil `menthol` changes how the brain processes breathing sensations, rather than directly affecting breathing muscles or lung capacity.

(The mint picture here is one of the 20 to 30, often garden escape or wild/bred species)
