Wild Soap!
Soapwort (Saponaria officinalis) is the original free plant source of soap. Nowadays, it is generally used by fabric conservators (National Trust, etc) for delicate or old clothes and tapestries.

The leaves and roots are boiled/simmered to release the soapy residue.

Willow, our Pain Friend

Hemp agrimony (Eupatorium cannabinum) is a common sight in Norfolk, where I live and a wildlife favourite.

It is the cousin of boneset, more commonly found growing wild in America. As herbalists, boneset is a very important fever plant which we used a lot during COVID and still do for flu blends ongoingly.
