Hay Fever is Here Again
The season of allergies marked by sneezing, sniffling runny nose and watery eyes is in full swing for some. All the mucous membranes of the nose and upper air passages will be affected. This hypersensitive allergic reaction is caused by a release of histamine which initially causes dilation of blood vessels. (People affected can be prone through genetic predisposition). However, poor digestion and a weakened immune system can make this pollen allergy worse.
Taking local organic honey year-round can provide a ‘natural’ immunity. Additionally, 1-2 grains of pollen daily taken year-round or for one and a half months prior to your particular pollen season is a common and useful tip. Otherwise, herbs to help like nettles should feature on a daily basis either as a tea or powder. Nettle helps the histamine reaction foiling it with its own biochemistry.
Other useful herbs (and nettle) are all in our PolliTox Capsules otherwise.
