The Types of Chamomile
There are in fact two species of chamomile in use, German and Roman. The German one (Chamomilla recutita) has a sweeter flavour and is, therefore, the preferred herbal tea choice, whilst the Roman Chamomile is more bitter and can be useful when strong nausea or vomiting is present as a tincture.
Some studies also reveal that chamomile contains chemicals that fight infections that can cause minor illnesses.
