Fresh Lemon Verbena in Winter
One of its main constituents is verbascosides and newer research shows it helps joint health and muscle repair. We know its use as a calming digestive and gut restorative is well regarded as is its use for slimming.
I’m lucky enough to be able to make fresh teas from leaves still in their prime. Dried leaves work just as well in the colder Winter months.
Tea Recipe
: Fine chop 5 fresh medium leaves and pour boiling water into the mug, leave 15 mins and drink.
: Dried leaves, use the same method.
