Frosty, Winter Yarrow
Yarrow has a myriad of uses and has remained a medicinal favourite by humans since Neanderthal times. It’s at this time of year that it’s summer harvested flowers and leaves are invaluable. Flu, colds, pneumonia, fevers and chills all respond well to yarrows unique biochemistry that collects, disperses, sweats out and generally removes the toxic components of virus, bacteria and dead cells etc. In other words, it accelerates the speedy removal of potential disease.
Make a tea on its own, or blend with other flu garden herbs like peppermint, rosemary and thyme.
