Warmth, Circulation and the Brain with Ginkgo
Ginkgo as you know is a circulatory plant for the whole body but it is particularly good at increasing blood and oxygen supply to the brain and small cerebral capillaries. It will increase memory capacity and learning performance and can also help some kinds of depression. It’s very simple, if the cells of the brain are not nourished and their waste not removed, then inflammation, congestion, toxaemia and poor brain function will result. Equally, it will help eye function, poor hearing, tinnitus and more. Ginkgo is great for hundreds of other beneficial things but if you want to pursue brain performance, try putting it with a small amount of rosemary (or even a little cayenne pepper).
We wouldn’t obviously harvest our urban leaves; you’ll need to buy them. But nice to know that these town planted Gingko trees do an amazing job of ‘netting’ and helping absorb petrol and diesel fumes.
