This graceful tree is a common sight, not least in my village where ten circle our ancient church.

Its exquisite fragrance in summer attracts a myriad of insects and perfumes the air with calming biochemistry.

Coughs, colds, catarrh, bronchitis and similar, we rely upon this excellent plant (leaves and flowers) to bring up phlegm and reduce its formation in the first place.
