Ginger & Rosemary, for a circulation tea
There’s nothing like fresh herbs (if you can get hold of them) for cold weather support. Try freshly chopped rosemary leaves and grated ginger. Either incorporate into a daily smoothie as raw (to add antiviral compounds to the strongly circulatory duo) or turn into an infused tea.
Use a thumbnail of rosemary leaves chopped small and a thumbnail of ginger root grated. Infuse for 5 to 10 mins.
The warming and blood stimulating properties of rosemary particularly affect the brain (as well as overall circulation) so have this tea in the morning ideally due to its wakeful properties.
Avoid excesses of rosemary with high blood pressure.
