So it’s great to find vernal potent foliage for fresh medicinal teas at this time of year. Here is a fresh blend from my garden…….
Clockwise, mullein at 12.00 o’clock, then lavender leaves, lemon verbena leaves and central olive leaves.
All are antiviral, antibacterial, antifungal and the flavour is delightful, lemony /lavender.
Just strip off the leaves or leave on the stork and cut small. This plateful is enough for approx 3 cups of strong tea, so the picking will last in the fridge for 3 days at 3 cups of tea a day.
