Yellow Elecampane has a great deal of historical and modern-day use
.
This rather stunning bright yellow Elecampane has a great deal of historical and modern-day use for almost any kind of lung/respiratory situation. Be they lingering chest infections, chronic bronchitis or equally the debilitation that can come with chest conditions, coughs etc. It was and still is useful for tuberculosis; the biochemical constituent alantolactone being a significant factor. Research also discovered it to be invaluable for MRSA (the superbug).
We used a lot of it in recent months. It’s in our Mullein and Eucalyptus lung formula and we use the root principally but also the leaves. As a bonus, it is a good digestive.
