This Sea of Sage can help Anxiety
On a family bike ride, we spotted this field of sage (We gather it’s destined to be frozen and sold in supermarkets). It was truly fragrant with the smell beckoning us to look more closely.
Sage is renowned for use with digestive issues, as an immune herb, a dental aid, for menopause support but also for its ability to help anxiety. A study using the dried leaf of Salvia officinalis showed its cholinesterase will inhibit/modulate mood, reducing anxiety and more. Low doses showed reduced anxiety and higher doses increased alertness, calmness and contented feelings.
