Linden or Limetrees in Winter
To think that by June these will be covered in white and yellow, fragrant (sticky) blossoms to make linden flower tea with, the herbal relaxer [Tilia europea].
As the stronger version tincture or as a tea, its a real ally for the nervous system. It has been used to help sleep, stress, anxiety and much more since the 14th century and is a real favourite in France, Germany, Greece and Hungary amongst many other countries. It’s a good digestive too and can help nausea and vomiting.
As a herbalist its an important and much regarded British native tree.
