The active chemical constituent ‘cnicin’ in the plant artichoke is proven to accelerate nerve regeneration and repair. This is according to new research at the University of Cologne.

Another plant containing ‘cnicin ‘ is the wild thistle “blessed thistle ” which was used in the study.
