Rosemary Wreath Memory and Circulation
The Romans wore rosemary wreaths to exams, to heighten memory. We now know that some of Rosemary’s compounds prevent the breakdown of acetylcholine, chief neurotransmitter and neuromodulator. This has the effect of helping learning, motivation, memory, slowing an agitated heart (and helping REM sleep). Not only this but its 12 plus antioxidants help brain function. Rosemary wreaths were also commonly worn by brides, symbolising love, friendship, remembrance and the like.
Its is, of course, wonderful for circulation and in our Pumpbeat capsules for this reason.
