Plantain husks To Help the Bowel
This winter Plantain on the North Norfolk coast (plantago lanceolata) still has its summer husks intact. We can collect these in the summer when they’re fresh and use them in just the same way as the species often known as Psyllium husks. These ‘homegrown’ ones are much smaller but work just as well to help the bowel move better and clear out toxins in the process.
